How accurate is it?
The autocorrelation detector is accurate to a few cents on clean, sustained tones — comparable to a clip-on tuner for vocals and single notes.
Why does it work best on single notes?
The detector finds one fundamental frequency. A clean single note (voice, hum, guitar string) gives the clearest reading; chords and noisy backgrounds are harder.
Is my audio sent anywhere?
No. The microphone stream is analyzed entirely in your browser and never transmitted.
